Our Story
NJ Finest owner Jeff Jensen began his home improvement career when he was in high school, gaining hands-on experience in every aspect of construction. He learned different building techniques, materials, and codes from different eras, which helps him troubleshoot potential problems when renovating older homes. Beyond actual construction, Jeff also learned the ins and outs of working with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and inspectors and coordinating these moving parts.
The more Jeff expanded and improved his skills, the more of the workload he absorbed. Instead of continuing to do all the work for someone else, Jeff decided to start his own company in 2004 and NJ Finest Home Improvement, LLC was born. NJ Finest has experienced steady growth by following a simple philosophy – do outstanding work and you’ll get outstanding customers.
Today, Jeff is still very much a hands-on owner who isn’t afraid to get dirty on the job. He oversees a well-oiled machine of more than 20 subcontractors, each with their own team of specialists, as well as a group of trusted suppliers of high-end products. As senior project manager, Jeff serves as the single point of contact for every customer and visits every job site regularly, ensuring that every project meets NJ Finest standards for professionalism and quality.
